My wife and I used to dine-in frequently at Hunan Express, as we lived near by, it was convenient, fair-priced, and great food. We moved away a few years ago but we make it over there a few time per year. The past few times, we noticed that the quality of the food has gone down. Last night we went, for what will be our last time. Prices have gone up tremedously, as amount of food has gone down. Service was terrible. The owner has always been gracious to us, but her teenage daughter that often manages the place is not much of a people person. The owners daughter was running the place last night, and she and our waitress had several friends loitering in the restaurant, acting obnoxious. The serving of ham fried rice was so small it was not even enough for one, plus there was no ham in it. The sweet and sour pork was nothing but grease and pig fat. And to make it worse my water tasted like it was dipped out of a fish aquarium. We had no desire to even take home leftovers. I could have had a better meal at Panda Express (meant to be an insult).
Pros: No waiting.
Cons: There is a reason there is no waiting.
