A co-worker recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The owner is low key, doesn't try to scare you into repairs you don't need or prey on your ignorance. The diagnosis (dead AC :-() was explained very clearly, what tests they ran to determine if the parts could be repaired or needed replacing. The estimate was spelled out in detail, along with all the various options for saving money on parts by searching for refurbished parts or junkyard parts, how long that might take vs. buying new parts from the dealer, so that I was able to make a really well-informed decision based on time vs. cost. I like that this is an independent shop, I've always had better luck (better prices, more honest, better customer service) with small shops than with dealerships.
