I read all the reviews on this restaurant and everything. I investigated different sites for bbq to find the best in San Antonio. All I wanted was a good BBQ meal. Before walking in I stopped a guy and asked him about the food and he said it was great, so now I'm all smiles. The reviews tell you how good the ribs are and how great the brisket is, but I'm here to tell you NOT! I spent $40 on the family deal of 1 lb of sausage(very bad), 1lb of ribs(not good), 1lb of brisket(very dry), 2 sides and 4 drinks. This was the number 1 BBQ place out there? WOW! How scary! It actually made me afraid to try the number 2 place on the riverwalk because it was rated ahead of them. Heck on my way home I was afraid to even look at another BBQ joint and there were plenty. This may be good to them because they haven't had GOOD yet. I do a better job in my backyard. Bar B Que places are much better right here at home. If I want good BBQ, I guess I'll just have to stay in Lake Charles, La.
