First off, I'll admit my bias: I love Texas BBQ. Given the fact that this location is very close to my house, I have dined there frequently. Honestly, I wouldn't say Goode Co's BBQ is the best I've had, but it's up there in the top 10 or so. Good enough for repeat visits, certainly. It's pretty obvious as you pull up to the place that they use red oak for their BBQ wood because it's stacked up like -- well, like cordwood -- along the exterior of the building. Red oak is a good choice, since it imparts a gentle smoke flavor to the meat. Some folks (like my wife) find mesquite overpowering, and if you're one of them, I think you'll enjoy the gentleness of oak.
Pros: Just about all the traditional meats
Cons: the sauce (but who needs it?)
