Just a brief note to say I worked at O'Ney's on 2 separate occasions, and have nothing but good things to say about Judy Roberts and Shirley Barnhart. I came from a local competitor and was very apprehensive about the transition. The O'Ney family welcomed me with open arms.
To all of the negative comments out there, truth be told, if anything caused the demise of O'Ney's, it was the extreme generosity of these two not only toward their employees, but also their clients. They offered the most generous commissions with the greatest benefits of any salon locally. They gave from their heart to local charities and those in need.
To those going elsewhere, clients and employees alike, we should all be so lucky to have experienced the degree of success The O'Ney family has celebrated over the years.
