On Wednesday March 19th my wife Michelle called Cat Hospital of Chicago to order dental food for our cat. When she came into their office after work to pick it up the woman behind the counter embarrassed my wife in front of everyone there telling her that our cat was three months late for it?s annual appointment and they could no longer sell us 10 pounds of cat food for $37.00 unless we brought in our cat and paid the $180.00 cost for his physical. They then implied that she was a bad mommy for not taking proper care of our animal in front of a full lobby of customers.\r

My wife, who loves animals, came home devastated and angry at their tactics. She and I first rescued our cat 8 years ago when as a kitten it was freezing to death behind a 7/11. We nursed him back to health, spending over $1000 in the process and gave him a nice home with a dog we adopted from Anti Cruelty.\r
