We had a terrible experience with Gordon Hartman, now McMillin Homes in San Antonio, TX.\r
We bought a brand new home because we liked the floor plan and we thought it was a good value for the money. Little did we know about how many problems we would have with our new house. On top of all the problems, their ?new home warranty department? was very confrontational and rude when we called about all the problems. My husband and I ended up losing about a month and a half of working hours just waiting for them to fix everything. This spanned over the course of an entire year.\r
As soon as we moved in, the problems started. Here are a few of the problems we had: 1.Didn?t have hot water in one of the showers. 2.The wiring for the alarm system didn?t work, they had cut into the walls to fix this. 3.The wiring for the air conditioner was set up wrong and we had $500/month electricity bills while they figured out what the problem was. 4.The main shower was built wrong and we had a lot of leakage until they had to completely rebuild the shower ? they also had to replace the ceiling where the leakage had happened. 5.Toilets broke multiple times. 6.Our front yard was ?uneven? so they had to rip the grass out and put it back in ? it never looked the same. 7.Doors didn?t close properly and they had to fix them. \r
We will NEVER even look at Gordon Hartman/McMillin houses again. Buy a house at your own risk!\r
