Wandering around on lower State Street we spotted Rudy's and decided to give it a try. Rudy's serves typical Cal-Mex fare and great Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Verde. The service was excellent and obviously the waiter was a professional. He listened, offered guidance, and got our orders out promptly. The food was hot and favorful without overbearing spices and false tones. Unfortunately the torillas were not hand made but those tasteless rounds that are mass produced. But it didn't matter one bit. The food was very good, service way above California Careless and the price was right.
