I had a very unpleasant experience at Insitu last fall. When I made the appointment I asked for a Level 2 designer ($100), but when I went to the appointment I received a Level 3 designer ($85.) I made the appointment for Sat afternoon, and the salon was almost empty. While the stylist was friendly, I think she did a very poor job cutting my hair. Also my hair is very thick and very straight, so my haircuts take about an hour and a half. The whole time she was cutting my hair, she put my wet heavy hair in front of my face, instead of clipping it up. Every other haircut I've had, the stylist will twist my hair and pin it up to cut the bottom layers, but no she put my wet hair in front of my face! I could barely breath and definately couldn't see! Who wants wet hair in their face for an hour. Also I'm pretty sure Paula was right next to me cutting someone else's hair. She should have said something to my stylist, Jenna. Then half-way through the haircut her friends came by and started waiting for her. So we ended the appointment with my hair slightly damp and a poor styling job. The stylist told the receptionist to only charge be $50, so I was fine with it. If I can save money, no need for a complete blow-out. The hair cut also grew out badly, and I needed another one a month later. BUT a couple days later, they call back and ask for the rest of the money, and charged by credit card for $35 more dollars.
