My friends and I wandered into Kurrent last night after a movie. It was close to the Egyptian. It had food.\r
I had not read any reviews. So this morning, I decide to check out what Seattle has to say. I found a ton of reviews which imply this restaurant is in the wrong neighborhood. You know how this made me feel? Bored of hipsters. The idea that Capitol Hill requires a certain style of restaurant to ""fit in"" is the worst type of provincialism. So, you hipsters, go slink around in your too tight pants and drink you PBR and pretend you're in a band. \r

I grew up on capitol hill. I have seen things change. Boo Hoo. You guys don't even remember Ernie Steels...the ultimate hang out. But I digress, Kurrent was good. The service was good. The beer was good.\r
Meals were served in a timely manner. The waiter was darling. What is the fricking problem?
