I had the misfortune of losing a cat recently. She was a beautiful outdoor kitty that my neighbor had and I instantly became her new ""friend"". She was attacked by a pack of dogs while trying to protect her kitten. She was rushed to Heights Vet Clinic. They told us she would lose her tail, but would be fine. A few hours later, they told us she had died. No explanation, she simply died. They filled her little body with fluids and had her packed in a box. It was horrible experience. \r

Her kitten was unharmed, but the father of the kitten was also attacked. She had part of his jaw bitten off and had to undergo extensive surgery. We had to take him to another vet and he was fine. The vets were so insensitive about the matter. \r
