The last three reviews of PS 450 are B.S. This place is a great mix of Bar and Club. The music is really eclectic (rock, pop, hip-hop, dance), the staff is always friendly, the drinks are the cheapest north of 14th street, and you never have to wait more then a minute to get served. Also, no pretentious promoters or B.S. velvet ropes. Its just fun and not cheesy like its competition on 3rd Ave. It does get a little packed, but the crowd is NOT all meatheads as previously reported. In fact I'm not sure where else in the neighborhood you can find a 35ish guy in a suit and tie standing next to a 22 year old hipster. I go here a lot and I?ve never had any issues with the security. I think the reviewer who said he left and went to Les Halles must be over 60 years old. Halles is a restaurant that closes at midnight. Please... PS 450 is open all night, for real partiers.
