The ambiance here is quiete beautiful, however the food is mediocre, and the service is by far the worst I?ve experienced! The hostess was polite and seated the three of us (two adults and one child) as soon as we arrived. The server on the other hand didn?t give a care in the world as he walked by placed menus on our table. He only brought over two beverages, when clearly there were three of us. Also when he eventually came back to take our order we specifically asked for an extra bowl for the child which never came with the food. We probably waited between 10-20 minutes until we spotted him again to ?flag him down? for our bowl, which by the way was fairly embarrassing?and it seemed as though we were inconveniencing him. He never bothered to ask us how our meal was; he didn?t even refill our drinks! All he did was sent over the check when he saw that we were done, which we waited for another 10 minutes or so after we were done with our meal. He never came back to collect payment so we had to take the check over to the hostess which took over the whole ordeal. I was in complete and utter disbelief when she asked if I would like to leave a tip. Is she kidding me? And I usually leave a generous tip (20-25%), but I blankly looked at her and said ?No I would not.? I don?t even know if you can call what the server did ?services?. It maybe one of the finer restaurants in terms of ambiances, but like I said the food is mediocre, and the service is POOR. I will not be going back. I would rather spend my money where I am treated as a guest and not an inconvenient hassle.
