The food is great; the service is great; the atmosphere could be great -- but the music is so loud you can't hear your server or the person sitting next to you. I like my music loud in the right settings, but this is a place you want to go with your friends to chat and relax and have a fantastic meal. It's my favorite restaurant for lunch, except invaribly when I suggest it at work, someone will say, ""Oh, let's not go there, we can't talk!"" The manager has told us on several occassions that this is the most common complaint he receives. However, the owner is the one who sets the music level and the staff cannot change it. The restaurant on University is actually not so bad, but the one in Mesa is ridiculous. One thing about the Mesa restaurant -- you never have to wait at the lunch hour for a seat -- at least I've never had to. As good as the food is, there must be another reason!
Pros: Food and service are great!
Cons: Music is good, but volume is unecessary!
