It's hard to tell if the gym has improved overall since the previous owner. It has, unfortunately, always been known as a ""pick up"" joint because that's what it actually is. It's not a professional gym. It's not the ""family friendly"" center that it's been advertised as for nearly 15-20 years. The gym still caters only to the rich and still has some ""trouble makers"" or strange groups of people, especially those who spend time in the gym to gossip and spread false rumors about members and even trainers whom they don't like or even know! It is a very odd place but I suppose most gyms are similar. The trainers are too interested in flirting with girls rather than actually working and earning their pay. There are still a few husbands/wives cheating and leaving the gym with someone other than their spouse. It's really a disgusting place overall. And it has always been difficult for financially disadvantaged members to get a response from the trainers when in need of important advice or help with exercise equipment. The male trainers only help women who are very attractive or people who are very rich and consistenly pay for personal training. It's also difficult to take your children to this gym when some of the women here are practically half-dressed even though they can still have a good work out in proper attire but choose to work out in what looks like underwear! This is why I quit the gym after being there for only less than a year. Pros: parking, location Cons: unclean, unprofessional, more
