Pretty good, cheap place to live 9/18/2007

I lived in this place for about 8 months, the first apartment I'd had alone as a college female. Kind of shady part of town, but that's just riverside for you. However, I never felt threatened. My neighbors were pretty nice. The gate worked pretty much all the time, the people in the office were really really nice and helpful. Maintenance was quick. They recarpeted my place before I moved in, which was great. Not too much noise on either side of my apartment but I could have just gotten lucky with quiet neighbors. It's right on the UT shuttle route for UT students looking for a cheap place to live, which is really nice. It's also right across the street from a lake so you can walk/jog there. You can also walk to several fast-food places if you don't have a car. Overall, a pretty good place to live if you're not looking for luxury or even any kind of frills. Pros: Ut shuttle route, friendly management, quick maintenance, recarpeted, cheap rent Cons: shoddy part of town, cheap apartments more
