My regular shoe repairman recently passed away, and his business and his customers were given to San Antonio Shoe and Luggage Repair. I visited San Antonio Shoe and Luggage Repair to pick up my shoes as was told it would take another week or two to repair my shoes, since they were busy with the new business. I certainly understood this and said it was ok, and then the person behind the counter went on to say, ""our paying customers come first"" and ""we have to eat the cost of the repairs form all these extra csutomers.""
