I first ate at the Seven Seas in December 1972 it was so delicious the crusty bread and thick sauces were memorable. Since then I have eaten there many times, however , it had been 15 years since I had been there until yesterday. After flying in from Atlanta and dreaming about my visit to the 7 seas. I told the folks with me how great it is, I was so disappointed I will never return. The bread is store bought sliced italian soft crust. The shrimp newburg such a delight in the past with big fresh shrimp ... this had little salad shrimp in the poor sauce. I could have cried. So sad . The soup was vegetable the veggies with the meal freezer burned rubber beans-- use to be fresh! The gummy rice had pepppers and stuff in it was like glue. I can not recommend my beloved fav of Sausalito to anyone ever again.
