I own many animals and have lived in many areas. I went to Pineville Pets a few months ago for the first time. It is a small family owned store, the manager/owner is John. He has the most knowledge about a variety of animals than anyone I have ever met. I always learn something new when I go in there. The rest of the staff is very knowledgeable too. They don't buy their puppies from large kennels, they use only locally hand picked breeders. I have a neighbor that bought a dog from them and had nothing but good things to say. The store is clean, but since it is small and family owned isn't as ""pretty"" as the chain stores. Their prices are reasonable and in some cases cheaper than the chain stores. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.
Pros: great staff, good selection, products no one else has, clean store, cares about the animals
Cons: not the ""prettiest"" store around, location isn't great
