Bunch of mechanically inept ripoff artists!\r

I took my car in to get my CV axles replaced. I came out with a cross-threaded wheel stud and a transaxle leak.\r

Seems one of their mechanics managed to tighten a 1/2" lugnut onto my 12mm wheel studs. The worst part of it was that the incorrectly sized lugnut was a large shiny chromed closed-end nut that didn't match my grimy open-ended stock lugnuts. The fact that the mechanic didn't catch this is amazing. The incorrect lugnut was tightened so much that it was impossible to remove with my car's standard wrench, so if I'd had a flat tire while the lugnut was installed, I wouldn't have been able to replace it.\r

I went back a week later and waited 20 minutes for them to check on the problems. At first they denied that there was anything wrong with my lugnuts until I dragged the service advisor out to my car and pointed the problem out to him.
