Whoever wrote that terrible review of Lorenzo's must be on prozac. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood, though not Italian (Irish) and have eaten in may Italian restaurants inluding the famous Mama Leoni's in Manhattan. Lorenzon's reminds me of my childhood with the frescos on the wall. The food is delicious and very reminiscient of my early days in NJ. So what if the pizza was burnt!!!! So was it a De Lucia's and Orlando's in Raritan, NJ and those guys just got off the boat. I love Italian food, reminds me of my childhood with the many Italian restaurant in the vicinity of my home. I even remember walking down the street and hearing Italian spoken by the old men and women. Only three Catholic churches; St. Ann""s for the Italians, St. Bernard's for the Irish and St. Joseph's for the Poles. Wonderful time to grow up in America. Lighten up dude and eat the piizza. They all came here to be Americans. Deal with the food and get over being a snob. Can't wait to get to Las Cruces again, by the way that will be this weekend and I will be eating at the Lorenzo's on University. Hope to see you there. \r

Ate at Lorenzo's on May 12. Had a wonderful time, service was excellent and so was the food. Always eat at Lorenzo's on University whenever I go to Las Cruces. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone. It is also wonderful for families. Relax and enjoy!!!
