I live around the corner from Taylor's, and have been wanting to eat there for months. I didn't have any trouble with the service - in fact, the server (Fronia) was attentive and nice (although she seemed not to understand me when I asked ""which is better, the mashed potatoes or the french fries?""). My problem was with the steak. Overdone and tough. Thank god it was smothered in onions, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat it. At one point, the waitress asked if I needed ""steak sauce"" - what kind of reputable steak house serves up A-1 sauce??? Also, I agree that the salad/soup should come priced together with the steak. No reason on earth for me to have to buy it all a la carte. Overall, not bad, but I probably won't be rushing back to eat there.
Pros: Near my house! Great Ambience!
Cons: Steak was overdone!
