At the intersection of Collier Rd. and P'tree, sits little Central City Tavern. It's a gathering place for all of us in S.Buckhead/Brookwood. Not fancy, not expensive, but a great place to just grab a cold one. Burgers are good, especially with a side of Tater Tots, and if you don't know what they are, just order boring fries. This time of year, the upper outside deck is great. Especially during rush hour, you can just dart in, and wait for the traffic to die down. Most of us in the hood, just walk over, and it comes in handy, if you've had one too many. During football season, there is always a warm homemade soup, and a hearty made chili. Almost everyone will know your name, especially the big guy behind the bar, his name is ""Mule"". Many a drunk female patron, late at night, always asks, why do they call you Mule? At that point, we are all in the floor, just laughing. Grab a cold one here!
