We are a small, community minded school with amazing kids and fabulous teachers, all of whom have been at Sutro for years. There is very little turnover when it comes to staff, which helps maintain the continuity and smooth transitions between grades. Everyone knows every name of every child here, and it's because we care enough to learn about the kids as unique individuals. The kids truly impress upon us the importance of making the curriculum innovative, and learning fun and interesting. Visit a classroom and you'll see just how happy every kid in this school is.
