We tried Snockey's because it's in the neighborhood and we wanted raw oysters. We got the 12-oyster sampler and it was not good. The Chincoteagues were off, tasting like an old gym sock. The others were just flavorless. None tasted fresh. We also got lobster tail, which apparently had been frozen before it was cooked. It was tough and chewy. The potatoes that came with it were a bit underdone, but basically fine. We didn't get dessert, but we heard the waitress telling the family at the next table that they were out of everything but chocolate cake. Also, the back room where we sat was dark and windowless, with nearly undecorated white walls. It's disappointing because it would have been great to have a good seafood place so close to home. Apparently some people love Snockey's for oysters and beer at the bar, but we'll never go there again.
Pros: Neighborhood feel
Cons: Iffy, bland oysters, tough lobster, poor decor, not cheap
