My friend and I went to the busy Macy's make-up dept (Clinique) to purchase 1 or 2 items. We asked if there were any promotional ""free gift with purchase"". The nice employee explained that their next promotion would begin in about 3 weeks but she would check to see if there were any leftovers from the previous promotion. My friend's purchases qualified for the free gift but mine did not. However, the employee was kind enough to give me one--without any attitude as she handed it to me.
