The Comet is a venue without pretense. There's a bar with some beer taps, a few chairs, some pool tables, and a stage. The crowd is very diverse depending on who's playing - you're likely to see Enimem wannabees moshing with glammed up transsexuals. Is that a bad thing? That depends on your personality. Are you the type of person that craves attention and likes to stand out? It will take a LOT at the Comet to stand out from the crowd, so be warned.
Great service, great place to watch people, and if you love the local music scene this is the place to see some awesome, awesome bands in their infancy.
