I saw a recent posting about this place and was moved to write a review in response to ""Avoid Fridays and Saturdays"". Contrary to that review its an awesome chillax environment. I am a regular there almost every Friday and Saturday night and I always have a great time. There has NEVER been a fight or brawl in my year and a half going to this spot. I agree it does get crowded and the service will slow down a bit due to the lack of bartenders but that just gives you a chance to go outside and get some air, or smoke a cigarette and meet cool people while things hash out inside. The crowd is eclectic...never any riff raff. Mostly artsy, hipster locals and people who dont feel like all the way to Manhattan to have a good night out. Hands down its my favorite place to go in Brooklyn. I hope it stays open FOREVER !! Bartenders are cool and its a wonderful establishment...where everybody knows your name!
