Poor Patient Care Services 12/6/2007

The office will ask you for a credit or debit card / driver's license and insurance card. What ever is not covered by your insurance will be automatically taken from you checking account or placed on a credit card. They will call you if it is over $250.00 but the total amount will be charged or taken out of checking. So if the visit is $1,000 and your insuarnce pays $50 the balance is charged or taken out of checking. No other options. There was also a confused elderly lady in waiting room from the attached hospital and she was to be taken into patient area and staff pushed her wheel chair with her feet under it. When it wouldn't move she shoved it harder three more times. Finally someone in the waiting room said ""you are hurting her feet they are under the chair."" I don't feel this clinic is patient oriented or professional. I walked out of the clinic after asking for my cards back and not agreeing to the payment method. The receptionist who was angry with me calle me later to let me know "" you left your debit card."" No apology of keeping it. I would not suggest this clinic. As a patients we deserve to be treated professionally and kindly. My personal opinion is you won't find it here. Cons: Patient care is not number one priority, money is.... more
