What a disappointment. I've been going to Campisi's since I was a child. I live out of the state, but when I visit Dallas, I always go back to Campisi's. Never again. I am not a difficult customer, nor is anyone that was in my party, but our waiter was the rudest waiter that I've ever experienced. He was so rude that we had to laugh about it. As rude as the waiter was, the bartender was even ruder, arrogant and just plain mean. We were there for my mother's birthday party and when we were singing Happy Birthday to my mom, the bartender was making faces and seemed completely annoyed by us. Then, we were saying our good-byes near the bar and the bartender loudly and rudely told us to move out of the way. We were in the way, so it was understandable that he would want us to clear a path, but there are nice ways of asking. \r \r Now to the food. The crab claws were cold and bland, and not as plump as I'd remembered them. The eggplant parmessan had no flavor and was soggy. The spaghetti sauce had no flavor. The dinner salad wasn't as good as it used to be. The garlic bread was cold and not crisp. The only good things that I sampled were the artichoke hearts and tiramisu. Other members of our party said they enjoyed their pizza (but I think they were being nice).\r \r As busy as Campisi's is, I'm sure they could care less, but I will never be back. Good luck to all of you who will continue to eat there. After reading other reviews, it seems the service and the food are inconsistent. I sure miss the old days of Campisi's. Pros: Good tiramisu Cons: Everything else was terrible more
