This used to be one of our regular spots but the new host/hostess are extremely rude and it's impossible to get a straight answer out of them. If you don't have reservations, expect to wait a very long time in a nearly empty restaurant all the while being told ever changing wait times. Service from the waitstaff is spotty and we often rely on an extremely helpful busboy but the food is good for SF (nothing compared to Amber in Mtn. View though). Unfortunately, the service doesn't match the high prices and we won't be going back for a long time.
