Security Travel's Bahamas Tip 10/17/2007

Ok here's the deal... I filled out a yellow slip and dropped it in a box while I was getting an oil change. A few weeks later I got a call about a trip to the Bahamas. I thought I won and was so excited but that soon turned to disappointment when I listened to the recording that mentioned the 87.50! I did some research and found all kinds of nasty things about the company and when I told my mom about it she asked if there was fine print on the slip I filled out. I told her I didn't remember so I went by the place I got my oil changed and looked at the slips... low and behold the slip mentioned administrative fees and port taxes! Man did I feel stupid. So I told my mom and had her listen to the recording. It turns out that the vacation was a pretty good deal according to my mom so we decided to go. Let me tell you... we had a BLAST! Aside from having to be in Ft. Lauderdale so damn early in the moring and getting back there so late, we had fun on the ship and the hotel was alright but we really didn't spend any time there because there was so much to do. We are going to try and take this vacation again next year because there were things we wanted to do but didn't have the time to do... and as cheap as it was, it is definatly worth doing again! I am glad I didn't listen to all the nasty stuff about the company I found on the web or I would have missed out on a great trip. Oh and BTW, I don't work for the company so please don't accuse me of that just because I had a good time. Pros: great deal, could take anytime Cons: Alittle misleading if you don't read the slip, Getting up early for Ship, Arriving home late from ship, ok hotel more
