I have a hard time convincing myself that it is worth it to go out for Italian, but having heard so much about RoSal's, I though I'd give it a try. It is a small and charming place with a homey feel. Again, having heard so much about this place, I was expecting to be blown away, but I wasn't really. The bread was OK; no black pepper on the table though for sprinking into the olive oil and parmesan cheese. The fried ravioli that we had for an appetizer was amazing -- covered in a delicious cheesy garlicky sauce. YUM. After eating such decadent deliciousness, I was really looking forward to the entree -- I got the Sweet Agnolotti -- it was fine, nothing spectacular. The sauce was good but heavy on the oil and almost too light on the garlic. The little spinach crescents were cute but the filling tasted stale somehow. I would probably try something else if we went back -- the seafood pastas looked and smelled good. My husband got the veal saltimbocca which he thought was excellent and really enjoyed it. Overall, though, I'm still not convinced that I've found a place that makes it worth it to go out for Italian food. more
