One little peep out of the kids will get you a visit from the hostess- Our recent visit to the new Tsunami Restaurant off Union Park resulted in a vow to never go back. I was not impressed with the sushi, small slivers of fish topped their sushi rolls, and the taste was mediocre at best. Most appalling however was the way their hostess handled a complaint by a guest about our child making noise. ""What can she do to get my child to be more quiet"" is a clear sign that they want to provide you with the check and send you on your way. Dont get me wrong, I fully understand that people go to dinner to enjoy the ambiance as much as the food, but kids or no kids we all should be able to enjoy our sushi. This restaurant is in a strip mall with highchairs available for children giving no indication that they prefer you to leave the kids at home. But make no mistake about it, kids are not welcome!
