Took my truck there because it was making noise in the fan belt area. They suggested I replace my tensioner and belt, both which were less than a year old. Against my better judgement I had them do the work, which was 300% more than what I spent to have the exact same work done a year earlier (I moved from San Francisco 3 months ago so I couldn't go back to the original mechanic.) Got the truck back and the noise was worse than before I left it...the noise moved from only when idling to all the time, worst when accellerating, which was never a problem before. Took it back in, they looked at it again, and told me they THINK it MIGHT be one of two ADDITIONAL things, but can't be sure if either of them will fix the noise. Hmm, I thought the initial work was supposed to fix the noise. So now they want to charge me $150 more (on top of $425) to fix one of the new ""possibilities"".
Cons: My idiocy for not heeding the "Help Wanted" sign outside.
