I discovered John's little shop by accident probably 7 or 8 years ago, and I've always been thankful that I did. I thought I needed $500 worth of work done, but he fixed my '84 Accord for about $50. And another thing I always appreciate (as a wanna be backyard mechanic) is that John seems to almost enjoy me hanging around and dialoguing with him as he works, so I usually learn a few things in the process.
He is consistently more concerned about my goals for the vehicle than he is in pushing another repair. John's prices aren't super low, but they are a good value, and his customer service and communication are noteworthy. I have no hesitation in recommending Certified Service to anyone who needs mechanical work done on their car(s)!
Pros: Quality work, customer service, value
Cons: A little hard to find, no waiting room, a little oily and cluttered (but IT is a repair shop)
