Let's face it. It would be difficult to find a really bad restaurant in the North End. When I go to La Summa, it's the ""extras"" that bring me back. \r
This family owned restaurant is really family. Barbara Summa is the best. She knows how to make her guests feel welcome. I have seen one of her daughters-in law take the meal order for a group of ten without ever writing a word. David adds class to the already superb and understated enviornment.\r
Do not enter this restaurant unless you are hungry! The portions are generous and the price is very fair. (Try the ""Specialty of the House).\r
Take a taxi. Parking is always difficult in the North End although you can usually get a spot at one of th ewaterfront parking lots. From there it is a two minute walk to Fleet Street.\r
