I grew up in the back of a ravioli shop and eat some sort of southern italian dish at least once a week. Needless to say, I avoid Italian restraraunts. But I gave this place a try. I was with 2 other people and the proportions were very reasonable. I like how they walked us through the kitchen on the way to our table. I went on a Monday night, so there was no wait. They give out a lot of wine and they appear to use a lot of fresh ingrediants (very essential in Italian cooking). I wouldn't ask someone to marry me there, but it's not a child-inf*sted smoking closet either. In terms of expense, I would say all Italian restraraunts are expensive given the fact that the food costs about 15 cents to produce and maybe 20 cents to prepare. So a $15.00 plate of spegetti and meatballs is like a 10000% mark-up. If you don't how to cook it and you enjoy eating Italian food, then you can't go wrong with this place as a casual dinner.
