I have been living in Los Angeles now for 5 1/2 years. And I have not let anyone cut my hair. Fear mostly that someone would butcher it up. But finally I got the courage and sought out a hair stylist and found Alyson Powell. She called me and made me feel comfortable and asked questions about my hair and the things that I wanted out of her. I made an appointment for the end of the week and it was great. Alyson listened and really took the time to hear what I was saying. I have very curly hair and it is not easy for me to style. But Alyson found a great, easy look for me. With low maintenance. I tell you go check her out. She's a doll
Pros: The Parlour was really pretty and hip. Without feeling too stiff.
Cons: The owner seemed highfalutin.
