I was meeting someone for dinner. I went to the bar for a beer [$3.50].
When my date arrived she ordered Merlot . There were only three others at the bar and the bartender forgot for 10 minutes--I had to remind him. I asked what I owed for the wine. After five minutes he returned and said ""It's Nine Dollars {!!!] but the register is stuck & I cant figure tax!"" I infomed him that the tax is included the price of drinks, [who trained this guy???]. At the table, we ordered two hot appetizers and three sushi rolls. The first appetizer arrived literally in 60 seconds flat--everything else took 20 minutes! The pork Kyozo was good but the chicken appy. was overcooked & dry. The sushi was just OK. Bottom line---if you like poor service, overpriced wine, and not so good food, then Hamada is for you.
