We had brunch at Cafe Natalie in December 2006. Let's say something nice first. The Swedish meatballs, fish, and french toast were great. The syrup was cold and instead of pancakes, they served Eggos that were cold and hard. The bacon was over cooked, but the sausage was quite tasty, but cold too. The scrambled eggs were okay, not runny at all, but there were no fixings to add to the eggs like green peppers, onions, etc. The pork chops were tough and contained a lot fat. There was a chocolate fountain but the chocolate was runny and thin. The wait staff didn't seem to know what he was doing, he kept on running to the back of the restaurant and yelled for "Terry, I don' know how to do this." "Terry, I need your help." None of my party said they would ever return to Cafe Natalie, but I might return if Cafe N. can get its act together. In decor, there was a table cloth stuffed in the French doors to keep the cold out. There was a hole in the wall by a light fixture. Some ceiling tiles were loose and there was substantial water damage to the ceiling. When one of our party asked where the men's room was, the bartender said a child threw a ball down the toilet and it was out of order. In Texas, this means you have to shut down, but the restaurant operated any way. Pros: Great eggs and french toast for eggs Cons: poor service (waiters don't know what to do), some food cold, bad attitude more
