I enjoy the restaurant for a beverage. I have to say, no wonder it is kept very dark in La Dolce Vita. The place could really use a good scrubbing from top to bottom, as could some of the staff and management. I found the food okay, not rave worthy and find the orange plastic chairs in the summer, a bit pitiful, when all other restaurants up and down Mayfield, invest in their outdoor furniture. Don't even get me started on the tomato stand. If that is deemed art, then can you imagine what they deem culinary art in the kitchen? Finally, a patio in a parking lot was the latest invention of La Dolce Vita this summer. No offense, but who would pay to eat in a parking lot, by a bunch of smelly dumpsters? Does a side of gravel come with dishes in the parking lot? . I am pleased there are other choices in the area.
