Let me start off by acknowledging the food here is excellent. We had the lobster salad and several rolls (probably 7) along with sashimi and it was all fantastic. However, the hostess's attitude was ridiculous and laughable. We ordered a drink to wait for our reservation and observed her attitude to everyone that approached was rude and unhelpful. When we got upstairs the experience changed drastically. Both our waiter and drink staff were knowledgeable and service was excellent. My only complaint was that toward the end of our meal they seated a family with two small children (under 6) next to us in a tight area (their table was inches from ours). The kids were loud, banged around the area and were a nuisance. Not sure why people insist on bringing their kids to inappropriate places but I was very disappointed they were seated next to us in such an intimate setting. That really took away from the experience.
