I discovered this place when I lived in Georgetown (about 10 miles north) and about once a week we'd make the drive at lunchtime for cheesesteaks. Amazing - amazing. Huge and delicious and the sweet italian peppers they put on are a great touch. I still pull off in Round Rock any time I'm driving up I-35. I'm from New York and have been disappointed by just about every ""deli"" or sandwich shop in Texas. But this place is as good or better than the deli's back home. The Italian combo sub is really good too. One complaint, they switched from the good crusty bread to soft bread because Texans thought the crusty bread was stale and would complain!
