My dining experience at Gourmet India was wonderful! We had visited a few years back when the restuarant had first opened, but the new management has definitely made Gourmet India a MUCH, MUCH better restaurant. The food is delicious- authentic Indian, the waitstaff is friendly and very helpful (several of the people in our group weren't familiar with Indian cuisine), and the restaurant's atmosphere is definitely pleasant. The portions are of pretty good size, and the prices are very reasonable. I have visited a majority of the Indian restaurants in Houston, and I must say that after the recent renovations and changes in menu Gourmet India definitely offers the best food and service for the best price. I highly recommend it to everyone!
