Know this before going::
The Office policy= full physical ""baseline"" exam for ALL new patients. Try to start your relationship while you are actually sick (likely?) - and they will require this 2+hr ordeal - including ekg, x-rays, etc. before they'll even discuss what's actually bothering you.
Charges to you/your insurance for these tests will be SUBSTANTIAL - and I would question the value of these ""baseline' tests when you are already wrecked with fever/cold/etc... sounds like a ""revenue"" rule to me.
For the record, I think Dr. McMullen is quite competent - but I have changed physicians due to the cumbersome and abrasive nature of doing business with his office.
