It broke my heart when Backstage was sold to new owners in January.
The friendly bartenders who knew every customer and every drink by heart was promptly fired for a younger staff (even the sweetheart waitress at the grill was let go!). In addition to raising their prices from $3-4 a drink to $7-10, they also completely shrugged of their regulars.
I'd been a weekly (sometimes daily) partron for well over two years and was deeply offended when my party was told to ""quiet down"" because we were upsetting the ""regulars"". I walked out and have not been back.
Where ever all the previous employees went, we miss you!
