Because I've just started a new position my health insurance won't kick in until January but I've got an immediate problem (minor, non surgical issue). I called to make an appointment and told them that I would pay cash for the initial visit because I need to be seen. They said that I needed to wait until I get health insurance, ""office policy"". Rude, unhelpful, and in my opinion - IMMORAL.
