The Subway is only $1.50 with a free shuttle from across the street from the Universal station to City Walk. The only problem is that you need to leave around midnight, depending upon any light rail connections you need to get back to your base. The park is basically for tourists and bored teens. Locals don't frequent the park except as tour guides for out-of-town visitors. There are some deals available, such as a movie, dinner and parking package, that save a few bucks, but the place is way over-priced.
