I went to Charley's with a friend who had been there before and liked it. I ordered the french dip, and thought it was odd that it came with grilled onions or cheese, and then after a few bites realized that the ""onions"" were really LARGE chunks of warm beef fat, literally, half the ""meat"" was fat. So I left the sandwich and ate the fries, which were decent. If I hadn't been there on my friend's recommendation, I would have definitely sent it back. It was by far the worst thing I'd ever been served in a restaurant. So if you do have to eat there, do NOT order the french dip.
Pros: good beer on tap, decent service
